Charity Initiatives

Relmfield Builders Limited is involved in a number of charity initiatives and encourages their staff to support an adopted charity throughout the year. The recent charities chosen have been:

2005 – The Epilepsy Foundation

raised a total of £800.

2006 – Keech Cottage

Keech Cottage is the only children’s hospice covering Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Milton Keynes, caring for over 150 terminally ill children at the current time. We receive only a small fraction of our running costs from the government and so are reliant on our communities to help to raise the bulk of the £1.8m running costs.

The charities chosen are close to the heart of the staff and are locally based. On both occasions these charities were recommended by members of staff.

Events range from quiz nights to summer barbeques. The support from the staff was tremendous throughout 2005 and the initiative has been carried forward to 2006.

Staff also continue to support other individual charity fundraising events with their efforts frequently being supported by Relmfield Builders Limited.
